Tavlo is backed by a family where a Chief Engineer served the Indian Government for 35+ years, a Research Scientist advances semiconductor lithography at Carl Zeiss, and an engineer contributes to BMW Munich. Since 2016, + years working with cutting-edge technology in Germany. Trained in semiconductor physics (MSc, Philipps-Universität Marburg), he brought deep expertise in sensor technology into automotive engineering — designing smart, complex sensory systems for autonomous driving perception.
At Bosch, he engineered ultrasonic sensor systems for production vehicles, led AI-driven workflow automation, and owned safety activities per ISO 26262. Advised the Automated Driving Alliance on dynamic object fusion safety and built ML tools for modelling sensor and perception anomalies in L4 vehicles.
At Aptiv, he developed Highway Assist features for major OEMs, standardized SOTIF processes, and invented and patented ML-assisted vehicle safety analysis adopted as official OEM methodology.
